Over the weekend, we attended a little piece of history as it went down at the AWOL Group show Fabric. The show was really outstanding, from the artworks, to the people and the heritage listed building it was exhibited in. Unfortunately I didn’t take my camera along to get some flicks, fortunately Mike D. has been working his video magic with the crew over the last few weeks and has put together this amazing video.
This is possibly one of the most hilarious music videos of all time and not to mention a pretty decent disco track. Sébastien Tellier’s album ‘My God is Blue’ is released this Friday in Australia. Please be warned this definitely is not safe for work!
After directing two of the greatest board sports documentaries of all-time, Riding Giants and Dogtown & Z-Boys, Stacy Peralta is back with a film chronicling the legendary Bones Brigade. Made up of Steve Caballero, Tony Hawk, Rodney Mullen, Lance Mountain, Tommy Guerrero, Mike McGill and others the Powell-Peralta Bone Brigade squad completely changed the face of skateboarding, setting the stage for the culture we know today.
Tame Impala are back with their latest offering “Elephant”, which is very pleasing to the ears. The band’s debut album Inner Speaker, is a timeless classic and we expect nothing less of their new album Lonerism, which is due out October 8th on Modular.
Stevie Williams was recently in Sydney with the DGK & Supra krew, who were working with Sydney photographer Wayne Desveaux on a product shoot. Check out this video for a behind the scenes look, featuring some fine Australian models, and the man himself. Shot and edited by Jordan Anthony Demagante.
